Who We Are Looking For

The Alliance Director will build and drive revenue-based relationships with key AuditBoard risk advisory partner firms such as Deloitte and Protiviti.  This position will report to the Vice President of Partnerships and Strategic Alliances.  This role will closely collaborate with AuditBoard’s sales organization, as well as executive leadership, to develop strong, lucrative, and positive relationships with partner firms. A significant portion of this role will be dedicated to managing and expanding our partnership with Deloitte. 

If you are the ideal candidate, you will already possess key relationships with firms like Deloitte and Protiviti and have extensive background knowledge of how their risk advisory practices operate.  You also possess the audit, risk and compliance domain expertise that will enable you to explain the AuditBoard value proposition and demonstrate product benefits.  You also have a natural ability to network/build rapport with senior executive partners and can qualify prospective sales opportunities through probing questions. This is a sales role and therefore will have an annual quota and incentive package. 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Evangelize AuditBoard’s vision for audit, risk, and compliance, as well as our products
  • Identify opportunities through partners and bring them into the sales pipeline
  • Work partner driven opportunities in collaboration with AuditBoard’s salespeople, account managers, and sales engineers until close
  • Build and execute sales and marketing strategies to engage partners and drive opportunities through referral product demonstrations
  • Develop business plans with each partner and ensure their successful execution
  • Coordinate with partners on customer-focused events, CAE roundtables, webinars, and other marketing events
  • Work with marketing team to drive recognition within the firm through marketing/advertising campaigns that promote AuditBoard as a partner
  • Manage coordination between partner technical resources and AuditBoard’s Customer Advisory Services
  • Manage and expand a network of contacts at all levels of the organization within Deloitte and Protiviti’s Risk Advisory Practices 
  • Track and report partner KPI’s and identify where additional focus is required


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8-10 years of experience in sales type of role
  • 2-3 years specifically in a partnership and alliance function
  • Financial industry experience a plus, but not required
  • Proficient in Salesforce
