We are looking for a highly motivated Technical Program Manager who can lead large, strategic, and complex projects as part of our international expansion!  This position demands self-motivation, a strong sense of ownership, and collaboration with engineers, product managers and designers. In this role, you will face various challenges - from driving delivery of product features to facilitating process improvements. Our ideal candidate is someone who has experience leading Scrum teams and is creative and flexible with how processes are implemented. They love to collaborate with others, but can also work independently to take an idea from concept to implementation. They are not afraid to roll up their sleeves to help solve a problem outside of the traditional job role. We're a hardworking, energetic team that is passionate about our customers and believes that to be successful we should never stop learning: learning about our customers, our product, and how to build a better team culture.

 Responsibilities

  • Lead initiatives and cross-team projects with some guidance, focused on tactical time frames.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers
  • Lead an Agile software development life cycle
  • Ability to write well-designed & testable user stories
  • Be product-minded and think about the customer
  • Integrate knowledge of product vision and functionality into development efforts to ensure business needs are fulfilled with the technical solution.

Attributes for a successful candidate:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a technical industry such as engineering, IT, etc.
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience working on SaaS web applications
  • PMP, Agile Certified Practitioner or Scrum certified/experience
  • Ability to deal with ambiguous/under-defined problems and takes initiative to investigate a solution
  • Strong communicator to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proficient in Identifying, communicating, and mitigating risks for projects.
  • Fully proficient in authoring and communicating status updates and risk assessments for multiple projects
  • Understands what makes an effective project process and can modify individual project team processes to meet the needs at hand
  • Motivation to work hard and always be learning

 Preferred

  • PMP, Agile Certified Practitioner or Scrum certified/experience
  • Experience with Jira
  • Experience working with internationalization projects
