Who We Are Looking For

AuditBoard is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team! As a Senior Accountant, you will work closely with the finance and accounting team to maintain financial reporting, records, and assist with monthly close processes. This role will be critical in supporting the accounting manager towards making sound business decisions in both the short and long term.

Main Job Duties Include

  • Report to the accounting manager and collaborate with accounting specialist as part of a growing team
  • Maintain financial reporting, records, and general ledger accounts in accordance with US GAAP
  • Assist with monthly close processes, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations, particularly bank reconciliations, fixed assets, AP, credit cards, prepaid expenses, accruals, and other balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assist with financial reporting, including departmental allocations, actual-vs-actual fluctuation analysis, and distributing final monthly financial statements.
  • Prepare monthly covenant reporting to various stakeholders
  • Perform bi-monthly cash reporting procedures for finance treasury analysis
  • Assist in review of AP and T&E expense transactions for accuracy and categorization
  • Monitor the accounting group inbox
  • Lead and perform ad hoc special projects, reports, and analyses as needed

Attributes of a Successful Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA or CPA-eligible
  • 2-4 years accounting experience with Big 4 or public/private mix
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Growth mindset, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple concurrent projects and tasks
  • Highly organized and detail oriented, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Cloud SaaS company experience preferred
  • Familiarity with NetSuite ERP, Google Suite, Bill.com, and Expensify a plus
