As a Brand Designer, you’ll delight customers with designs that inspire, engage, and excite them. Working with  user-centered design principles, you will produce high-quality and visually engaging designs across many platforms. This highly creative person should possess a keen eye for detail and design, organization skills, and a passion for creating engaging visuals. You will be on the team that is chartered with supporting and driving marketing initiatives from a creative and user experience perspective, including events, web, advertising, and print.

  • Design engaging visuals, graphics, and motion design for print, video, and digital materials as needed from concept to execution.
  • Visual Composition. Understand how to leverage visual design principles (shapes, lines, color, whitespace, typography, etc.) and apply them to produce effective and aesthetic designs.
  • Communicate effectively with the Marketing and Sales teams; present ideas and designs effectively.
  • Collaborate with other designers and stakeholders to deliver on creative initiatives.
  • Measure success by understanding business requirements, identifying design goals, and finding ways to measure success as designs are delivered to end-users.
  • Design for users by being a strong advocate for data-driven UI/UX strategy and first-class user-experience practices. Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends and techniques.
  • Branding. Maintain and contribute to the growing AuditBoard branding system, strategy, and guidelines.
  • Identify new opportunities to improve our branding or design strategy, and have the skills to implement and coordinate independently.
  • Always be learning. You should always be pushing yourself to be a better designer. Learn from your team, your peers, and even people with entirely different experiences. Absorb your craft but also the entire business context for your own growth and to support your team.
  • If you see it, solve it. Be a self-starter, if you see a problem beyond your immediate responsibilities, work to help solve it. There’s no such thing as “it’s not my job” on our team and at AuditBoard. Be willing to drive forward with ambiguity and multiple priorities, planning effectively and handling iterative change.

Attributes for a Successful Candidate: 

  • BA/BS degree in Design, Visual Communication, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proficient with industry standard design tools (i.e. Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects, Sketch, Figma).
  • Demonstrable digital design skills with a portfolio that showcases a breadth of styles and approaches (portfolio required).
  • Strong brand design skills with a focus on user experience.
  • Adept in designing for complex business needs and various buyer personas.
  • 5+ years of Brand Design experience (ideally in a marketing context)
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills and familiarity with technical constraints and limitations as they apply to designing for various mediums and platforms.
  • Self-motivated to prioritize and manage workload in order to meet critical project deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build good working relationships.
  • Bonus if you have specialized design/technical experience (HTML/CSS, Animation, etc.).
  • Bonus if you have experience working with high-performance marketing teams.
